EPL Done Deals from Friday the 13th of January 2012


Newcastle have signed Senegalese striker Papiss Demba Cisse from Freiburg on a five-and-a-half-year deal for an undisclosed fee thought to be around £10million.

Cisse: Newcastle's first signing of the Winter transfer window.....

If this goes well and he settles in.... he could have a deadly partnership with fellow International Demba Ba......

Swansea City have signed highly-rated Chelsea midfielder Josh McEachran on loan for the rest of the season.
Good experience for the young player who could grow up to be the next Lampard/Gerrard.

Chelsea have confirmed the signing of Bolton defender Gary Cahill worth £7.5million and a contract worth approximately £23million for the next 5 years.
Cahill will get over £100,000 a week.

A new beginning for the English defender...


Norwich City have comfirmed the signing of Leeds United captain Jonny Howson for an undisclosed fee. He has signed a three and a half year contract with The Canaries and hopefully this will boost their top 12 finish this season....

Under 21 midfielder Yago Falque has signed for Tottenham Hotspur from Juventus.
Spurs have sent him on loan to Championship club Southampton for the rest of the season.

Falque: 2 new challenges for the startlet....


Transfer Talk:
Not many signings in this TW so (far apart from loans), so it's only speculation that's interesting every football fan in the world at the moment.
Only £20,400,000 spent in 25 days in the EPL so far compared to £478,000,000 spent in August 2011....


Villarreal, Granada and Sevilla are all in advanced talks with Tottenham over the signing of midfielder Giovani Dos Santos.
Spurs hardly play him and he is getting frustrated..... 

Everton have agreed a fee to sell winger Diniyar Bilyaletdinov to Spartak Moscow.

Racing Genk have confirmed they are in talks with Chelsea about selling midfielder Kevin de Bruyne.
He interested them in the Champions League Group Stages and Chelsea are lining up an £8million bid for him....

Arsenal midfielder Tomas Rosicky is wanted by Wolfsburg and Olympiakos.
He is a fringe player at the peak of his career and is not playing enough especially for a central midfielder...... 



Sunderland manager Martin O'Neil has offered Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli's brother Enoch a two week trial.
Is this just because of the famous surname Balotelli or is he as good as gold???

Inter Milan have confirmed that they are not interested in Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez anymore.
Juventus and AC Milan.... listen up.

Everton, Manchester City and Arsenal are all interested in Birmingham City's highly-rated goalkeeper Jack Butland.

New PSG manager Carlo Ancelotti is reportedly very interested in taking 33-year-old Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard to France with him.
PSG would be tempting for him....

Chelsea defender Alex is reportedly going to snub london rivals QPR for a £4million PSG move. 
No real surprise there... it would be a good signing for either team though.

Birmingham City have rejected an improved offer from West Brom for defender Liam Ridgewell.
The Baggies need a defender like Ridgewell in their team.... they need him.

Sunderland are being linked with a move for Bolton's Kevin Davies.

Aston Villa are ready to let striker Emile Heskey leave te club on a free transfer.
He's getting old, losing his touch (if he ever had one)

Liverpool are interested in Rangers striker Nickic Jelavic along with QPR. A £10million bid is thought to be expected by Rangers as a £7million bid was rejected (from West Ham)

QPR have reportedly had a £4million bid accepted by Manchester City for defender Nedum Onouha.

And lastly:

Real Madrid are reportedly interested in buying Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger to replace former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho.
